Fun fact:  A rocket cannot escape Earth's gravity and make it into space unless it's traveling at least 7 miles per second. Have you ever been on a rocket ship?

For about 1 and a half weeks we were supposed to start a personal speech, I decided to do mine on why shouldn't you put rubbish in the ocean. We are supposed to do an Introduction, Main point 1, Main point 2, Main point 3, and a conclusion. I have only done my Introduction, point 1, a bit of point 2 today I may finish main point 2 and a bit of main point 3. Have you done a speech before?

Cultural diversity day!

 Kia ora bloggers tomorrow which is 22/10/21 we are going to do Cultural diversity day. Everyone gets to dress up in their culture I'm part Maori which means I'm going to dress up in a Maori dress. My friend Elsie is dressing up as England, Tilly is also England, Grace is dressing up as England and Maori, Maisey is dressing up as Canada, Kyla is dressing up as England, Breanna is dressing up as nothing. Today in math we did canta math my team Aiesha Breanna Sylvie and me, there were 18 questions we came 1st we won a prize. I got a mini slime half was blue and the other half was purple, Breanna go a mini slime which was yellow and pin so did Sylvie, Aiesha got these little rubbers they were koalas and a palm tree.

Wonderful Literacy

 Today in literacy we played a fun game about guessing the baby so we all shared a baby photo of ourselves and it was like a quiz we wrote numbers 1 through 17 and my literacy teacher showed the photos we had to guess the baby and I got 12 out of 17. A few people guessed mine it was cute and funny! Thanks, Bloggers

This week for literacy I have been working on a Matariki slide, This is one of my Activities. The word I used was Nga Whetu which means stars in the first box it was an image of the word which mine was stars. In the second box, it was using your word in a sentence in the third box it was if the word is a verb for a noun my word was a noun and in the last box you need to do a definition. Have you seen the Matariki stars?
